High School Academic Interventionist

• Certified teacher with valid Michigan teaching certificate preferred • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Provide effective small and large group instruction • Knowledge of current strategies for teaching mathematics and reading • Familiarity with balanced literacy • Knowledge of learning styles and ability to differentiate instruction • Knowledge and experience in student assessment • Expertise in data collection and analysis • Knowledge and experience in working with at-risk students • Any additional qualifications as deemed necessary by the Board of Education job description manual • Other duties as assigned which may include supervision of gymnasium and locker rooms
