Postion:  Moffat County High School  is looking for an enthusiastic and team oriented candidate to fill a Assistant Football Coach position.  

Salary:  Salary commensurate with experience on our extracurricular pay scale   

Responsibilities:  The Assistant Coach reports to the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director and is responsible for assisting with the Football program at the Moffat County High School. 
Leadership is to be provided by the coach in the following areas:
 - Assists with conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing players in rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
- Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities/exercises as directed by the head coach. 
- Assisting with coordinating all levels of the program and summer/off season programs
- Implementing of expectations and direction of the program 
- Preparation of team for competition
- Communication with parents, players, school staff, media, etc.
- Following school and CHSAA regulations and policies

Qualifications:
Required:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Previous football coaching experience and/or knowledge or the fundemental and advanced skills of football
-CPR/First Aid Certified
-Be willing to be part of a team environment

Preferred:
-Knowledge of all aspects  of the Moffat County School District athletic/activity programming
-Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with high school students
