Northern Neck Regional Alternative Ed (District)

The Northern Neck Regional Special Education Program works with all five school divisions in the Northern Neck of Virginia. We provide educational opportunities to children (ages 2 through 21)who have Developmental Delays, Moderate Mental Disabilities, Severe and Profound Disabilities, Multiple Disabilities, Autism, Other Health Impairments, and Orthopedic Impairments. We currently have ten classroom sites located in or near public school buildings throughout the Northern Neck of Virginia.

The Northern Neck Regional Special Education Program serves children ages 2 through 21 who live in the service area and, through the eligibility process, have been found to have the following disabilities: *Speech and Language Impaired (ages 2 through 5) in cooperation with each school division *Developmentally Delayed (preschool) *Moderate Mental Disabilities (Trainable Mentally Retarded) *Severe and Profound Disabilities (Multiple Disabilities, Autism, Deaf-Blind, Other Health Impaired, and Orthopedic Impairment)
