Haywood school is a Pk-8 facility that sits approximately 12 miles west of McAlester, Oklahoma, and joins property with one of the largest Army Ammunition Plants in the United States. Haywood School is a very modern facility in a rural setting. What better place to get an education.
Mission Statement
Haywood School graduated its first class of students in 1931 and the rich tradition continues today. The staff is committed to teaching and has a true desire for each student to succeed. Our students are respectful of others and work very hard on their education. We also have a great parent support system, dedicated and willing to help and work tirelessly to ensure student success.
